Roscommon Races

When I visited Roscommon in August 1995, I happen to know the horse race taking place on that day. So I went to the race. The racecourse was located about 10 minutes' drive from the town center. Flat races and National Hunt races were held. Parking lot was inside of the track, so cars had to cross the course.

The winner was Samanid owned by H.H.Aga Khan (Left). It won by 6 length.
