Nottingham Races

I visited Nottingham in July 1993. The famous Sharwood Forest is in the suburbs of Nottingham. I went to the racecourse by taxi from Nottingham station. Onthe way back, I got on the bus and I realized the Dog Racecourse was next to the Horse Racecourse.
This track has sharp corners and very long back and home stretches. 5 furlongs races are held by using home stretch only.
There were no big races there but famous jockeies such as L. Piggott, Pat Eddery, L. Dettori, W.R. Swinburn, etc., were riding on that day.
