Sunny's Racing

This page shows an amateur jockey in Hong Kong, Mr. Sunny Lam. He lives in Hong Kong, and usually goes to ShenZhen for riding. His riding club is located in Dong Guan, it's around 1 hour from the border. Mr. Lam has two horses, one is retired thoroughbred horse, and the other one is a China mare horse. There is only one race meeting in every month. The meeting usually has 4 races for jockeys and 2 races for the amateur jockeys or owners. The distance is from 1100m to 5000m. Most of the racehorses are Chinese horses. Their speed is slower than thoroughbred. Their best record for the 1100M is 1' 12"00, but Mr. Lam's retired thoroughbred horse got 1'06"00. It's a big difference. Thoroughbred and Chinese horses don't race together due to the big difference of their speed.
